Die ABORA-Expeditionen<\/h2>\n

Die ABORA-Expeditionen stellen die konsequente Weiterentwicklung der DILMUN-Forschungsreihe dar. Der Name leitet sich von der altkanarischen Gottheit Abora ab. Sie wurde einst auf Stufenpyramiden auf Teneriffa und La Palma verehrt. Aufbauend auf jahrzehntelanger Arbeit mit Schilfbooten widmet sich ABORA der praktischen \u00dcberpr\u00fcfung fr\u00fcher maritimer Handels- und Kulturkontakte auf offener See. Ziel der Projekte ist es, mit vorgeschichtlich rekonstruierten Schilfbooten die Seet\u00fcchtigkeit, Steuerbarkeit und Reichweite vorzeitlicher Expeditionsrouten unter realen Bedingungen empirisch zu \u00fcberpr\u00fcfen.<\/p>\n
